The Chatsworth team is well versed in the legal and regulatory framework underpinning the global derivatives market, including MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, Basel, and EMIR. We advise business leaders to engage effectively with the policymaking process and ensure their communication with regulators, customers and the media are effective, articulate and aligned.
We have worked with market leaders and technology vendors to capitalize on the opportunities presented by the new trading and regulatory landscape. We helped clients such as Tradition, one of the world’s largest interdealer brokers, lead the debate on the issues affecting the industry, and communicated the launch and adoption of the first benchmark for interest rate derivatives based on irrefutable electronic pricing on Trad-X.
With the rise in M&A activity amongst fintechs, we have also steered a number of businesses to growth and subsequent sale. This includes SuperDerivatives, which was acquired by the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) for USD300 million.
